New Leica Digiscoping Objective Lens

New: the Leica Digiscoping Lens.

Leica Camera AG has added a new accessory to the digiscoping equipment programme: the Leica Digiscoping Lens. The 35 mm lens is suitable for all cameras with interchangeable lenses, and its perfect interaction with Leica spotting scopes guarantees its users impressive pictures in breathtaking quality.

The Leica Digiscoping Lens is the ideal accessory for ambitious naturalists who wish to capture their impressions in perfect picture quality. In combination with the Leica TL adapter, the lens is compatible with every system camera that features an electronic viewfinder or offers live view. The Leica TL Adapter is optimised for use with APS-C format cameras, but can also be used with system cameras with smaller or larger sensors.
‘Thanks to the new Leica Digiscoping Lens, our customers can now quickly and easily switch from viewing to photography and capture their impressions in exceptional pictures. Our customers naturally enjoy all the benefits of the excellent quality of our optical elements and lenses’, says Nanette Roland, Product Manager at Leica Sport Optics (Wetzlar).

Leica Camera AG is the only premium-segment optical systems manufacturer to offer a complete product portfolio for digiscoping applications – from cameras and adapters to high-performance spotting scopes. All individual components are perfectly matched. The combination allows users to capture impressive photos that are otherwise only possible with special telephoto lenses mounted on premium SLR cameras.

The Leica Digiscoping Lens will be available from April 2016 at a recommended retail price of 480 euros.
