His photographs have been exhibited internationally and reside in many private and public collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Wittliff Collection, the Harry Ransom Center, the Grace Museum and the Library of Congress as well as appearing in such periodicals as PDN, Communication Arts, Rangefinder, and Digital Photo Pro.
"I never planned on becoming a photographer. But just like a great photograph, it was a combination of coincidence and “right time, right place”. I was lucky. Living this life in photography has allowed me numerous opportunities to meet people, travel the world and share my experiences with others. My photographic life has been made up of three parts; my personal work, my commercial work and my teaching. All of which has culminated into this collection of photographs. While the subject matter is diverse, the pictures are held together by the fact that they are made up of the three themes that interest me most in photography; light, color and moments. At their best, light and color can come together at a moment in time and create an atmosphere, emotional response and/or a sense of place. These photographs from over ninety countries and all seven continents account for a lot of journeys," exclaims Meyerson. "The opportunity to travel still excites me, not only for the chance to visit new places and make new photographs, but also the prospect of adding to my ongoing life journey. As Ernest Hemingway said, “It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters in the end”.
