At the beginning and throughout the development of the latest generation of Leica Televid scopes, we set great value on an active communication with and feedback from, scope users and that process significantly influenced the design and construction of these new models. The result is a range with 82 an 65 mm lens diameters where both models are the most compact spotting scopes in their class and have the shortest close focus distance in their class.
The innovative APO-models with their complex, apochromatic lenses use new fluoride glass (FL) lenses for improved image performance. The fully rubber amoured die-cast magnesium housing protects the optics against harsh weather conditions and ensures they operate noiselessly.

It is a cold morning, mist is in the air and your optics are clouding over. With Leica's new AquaDuraTM-coating this is a thing of the past. This water and dirt repellent coating on the outer lens surfaces takes care of it Like the lotus plant, contamination and wetness can not adhere, but roll off easily and thus guarantee a clear view - even in rain and wind. In addition you benefit because it takes even less time to clean - leaving more time for observing.

The next highlight is the entirely new variable wide-angle zoom eyepiece with 25 to 50 x magnification. It offers you viewing experiences that are unique on this scale with its spectacular field of view of more than 60 degrees - which is constant over the entire zoom range!
