The world of Leica photography since 1949

LFI Magazine

Issue 6/2021

This issue carries a homage to the Magnum photographer Harry Gruyaert, who is celebrating his 80th birthday this year. Furthermore, in the magazine you will find Ralph Burns’s long-term project dedicated to Elvis Presley’s faithful fan community, Kerem Uzel’s reportage on a second waterway between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, Martin Herrera Soler’s Nómade series, as well as Joakim Kocjancic’s melancholic journey of exploration throughout Europe.

In the technical section, we outline the L-Mount cameras currently on the market and show what possibilities SL cameras offer in conjunction with M lenses. In addition, the fourth part of our fine art printing series awaits you.

Ralph Burns

Starting in 1978, Ralph Burns spent three decades photographing faithful Elvis Presley fans in Memphis, Tennessee. He spoke to us about one of his first encounters there.
